A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST

1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).

You will always find me listening to music or reading some book. I am also a big fan of sports like cycling, hockey and football, so most of time I am cheering in front of my TV. Of course I am spending my time with my friends and family as much as I can.

2. Why do you make art?

Making art is a form of self-expression for me, through art I can express things I feel, see or hear to better understand them. My paintings are usually very personal, it's a joy to share something so deeply close to me with other people and artists.

3. What inspires you?

My biggest inspiration is music and musicians, their art can easily influence you in a way you won't ever forget. Emotions are also one of my biggest inspirations, I try to put them in all of my paintings. Another (and not last) inspiration is nature and her colours.

4. What/who are your influences?

Other artists like Vincent van Gogh, Salvador Dalí, Pablo Picasso, Josef Čapek, Jackson Pollock and Asger Jorn (and more.) My other influences are films, books and, as I said, music.

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

Karel Čapek, Ronnie James Dio and Sir Nicholas George Winton.
